SCARLET SRF & MORPHEUS8: A BRIEF COMPARISON
Scarlet SRF and Morpheus8 are two popular skin rejuvenation treatments that use radiofrequency technology to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture. While both treatments are effective, Scarlet SRF offers some unique benefits.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Scarlet SRF technology distributes RF energy through an array of 25 non-insulated microneedles. The non-insulated needles heat the length of the skin and require only one pass of the device. Hailed as a next-generation device, Scarlet SRF minimizes bleeding and increases the speed and comfort of the treatment to deliver optimal care and healing for almost all skin types and concerns.
Although the procedure is generally tolerable, for those patients with very high levels of anxiety or low levels of tolerance to pain, we offer the use of PRO-NOX™, a device that delivers a mixture of inhaled Oxygen/Nitrous which numbs the patient’s sensations for several minutes, enough to allow the doctor to complete the procedure. The patient recovers 100% at the end of the procedure.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SCARLET SRF MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT
Some patients may almost immediately see results, like firmer skin, while other dermal changes may appear gradually over 2 – 3 months as collagen and elastin fibers regenerate. Treatment results can last six months to a year following one treatment, but we may recommend a series of treatments to achieve the optimal result. Treatments with Scarlet SRF take about 20 minutes for the face and ten minutes for the neck. Body treatment times depend on the size and condition of the areas to be treated. Redness and some swelling can be expected following treatment and may feel like a mild sunburn. Many patients return to regular daily activities almost immediately after Scarlet SRF treatment. There is minimal to no downtime with Scarlet SRF.
